Aim Rule 26
AIM Rule 26, which came into force in February 2007, requires AIM listed companies to make certain key company information available on a website.
In conjunction with the rest of the website and the links on this page, this site has been designed to comply with the requirements of Rule 26 (Company Information Disclosure) of the AIM Rules for Companies.
Plastics Capital is a niche manufacturer of specialist plastic products. Applications for these products vary widely and examples include:
- Packaging for the food manufacturing and distribution – films, sacks and pouches
- Steering columns and instrument control knobs in the automotive industry – plastic ball bearings
- Hydraulic and industrial rubber hose manufacture – various types of plastic mandrel
- Cardboard box manufacture – plastic creasing matrices.
Plastics Capital’s business model is based on understanding customers’ problems in depth, and then developing and mass producing proprietary, technical solutions for these problems.
The business operates through two divisions, Films and Industrial, and has the majority of its production in six UK based factories, with a further three factories in Asia. Approximately 45% of its sales are made outside the UK to more than 80 countries.

The Board meets six times a year and is responsible for formulating, reviewing and approving strategy, budgets, acquisitions, capital expenditure and senior personnel appointments. The executive directors and senior management meet regularly to review and consider operational matters. The Board comprises of an Executive Chairman, one Executive Director and three Non-Executive Directors. Two of the Non-Executive Directors are independent of the executive management.

Plastics Capital consists of six key operating subsidiaries in the UK:
- Bell Plastics – Poole, Dorset
- BNL – Knaresborough, North Yorkshire
- C&T Matrix – Wellingborough, Northamptonshire
- Flexipol – Haslingden, Lancashire
- Palagan – Dunstable, Bedfordshire
- Synpac – Hessle, Yorkshire.
The Group also has a manufacturing and assembly operations in Thailand and two manufacturing facilities in China, with sales offices in the Italy, USA, Japan, India and China.

The Company is not listed on any other exchanges or trading platforms.
As at 7th August 2017, the total number of Ordinary shares in issue was 38,945,151.
As at 7th August 2017, the percentage of Ordinary shares not in public hands was 39.1%.
There are no restrictions on the transfer of securities.
